Are you ready for the Winter? With whatever holiday you celebrate, now is the perfect time to enjoy the cold months both inside and out!

  • Hot Chocolate Hop. Go on a journey through your city to different cafes to decide which hot chocolate you like the best! Be sure to ask for that peppermint stick to be added. My favorite is a hot chocolate you have to share with friends, it’s literally melted chocolate with just a splash of milk at Waffles and Dinges in New York!
  • Go look at the windows! Go for some window-shopping! Over the holidays storefronts love to put up great displays! Get inspired and into the Holiday season. In New York, I love walking up Fifth Avenue to check out all of the new displays.
  • Go sledding. Has it started snowing yet for you? We had a snowstorm last week in New York, there were people sledding all throughout Central Park!
  • Ice Skate. The rinks are now all open in NYC! Go check out your local rink and skate hand and hand with your loved one!
  • Read a great book. Light a fire in your fireplace, or even just a candle, and read your favorite book with a cup of tea.
  • Decorate for the season! Cut out snowflakes with white printer paper or find evergreen leaves in your yard or local park (I’ve found fallen leaves in Central Park) and arrange them on your dining table!
  • Bake cookies! Is your favorite cookie a gingerbread man or a sugar cookie? I love all the different cookie cutters they make now, mine always turn out to be dinosaurs!
  • Carol! Whether it’s formally going door to door or just turning up your radio and singing along, there are so many fun songs to get you singing this season!
  • Watch a Holiday Movie! My favorites are all on Hallmark (I know…), but they’re always joyous and make you just smile!
  • Give a Gift! There’s nothing I love more than finding the perfect gift for the people in my life. What do they love? What would bring them joy? There’s something about giving that feels even better than receiving.
  • Complete a puzzle. Sit around with your family and friends and slowly put together a puzzle.
  • Purge your closet to donate to people in need. You don’t need a 1000 sweaters. Why not give back to your community by also organizing?
