Violeta by Isabel Allende (Available January 25th).  A new work by the famous Isabel Allende, if you haven’t read her work yet, you are in for a treat.  The Spanish and English editions come out this month and this is not one to be missed.

The most anticipated book of January includes Abolition Feminism Now.

Abolition.  Feminism.  Now.  By Angela Y Davis, Gina Dent, and Erica R Meiners (Available January 18th).  This is both about politics and social justice with these authors looking at the erased landscape of the histories of the feminist and in particular, the queer, anti-capitalist, grassroots, and woman of color.  A collection of papers, this book promises to help us understand the present and future of feminism from a new lens.

The most anticipated book of January includes Wahala.

Wahala by Nikki May (Available January 11th).  A book that you won’t want to put down, a new friend Isobel inserts herself into the lives of an inseparable London trio and the fallout is entertaining and will keep you wanting to know more.  This character driven thriller will have you turning the page.

A book title of Yinka where is your husband as a new release book for January.

Yinka, Where Is Your Husband by Lizzie Damilola Blackburn (Available January 18th).  When her cousin gets engaged, Yink commences ‘Operation Find A Date for Rachel’s Wedding,’ and with this plan she hopes to fall in love.  A book about the traditions of a Nigerian family in South London, you will love this story.

The most anticipated book of January includes The Latinist.

The Latinist by Mark Prins (Available January 4th).  The Latinist is a modern retelling of the Daphne and Apollo myth set against the backdrop of Oxford University.  With a mystery threaded throughout the story, this twisty read is a must on your reading list.

Honor by Thrity Umrigar (Available January 4th).  An Indian American journalist returns to India to write a story for her first time back when she was a child.  This story of finding oneself and understand different cultures will have you moved about two women who inspire each other.

Fiona and Jane by Jean Chen Ho (Available January 4th).  Two best friends explore the bars and freeways of Los Angeles together and then what happens when one moves away to New York.  Told about female friendship it embraces the role of friends in our lives.

The most anticipated book of January includes Olga Dies Dreaming.

Olga Dies Dreaming by Xochitl Gonzalez (Available January 4th).  Exploring the realities and struggles of the American Dream, the author pulls from her own experience of New York City and tackles the pitfalls of ambition, racism and elitism.  Following the wedding planner and her search for her own fairytale ending, the book is set in the months surrounding the hurricane in Puerto Rico and how Olga must navigate these two worlds.

Weather Girl by Rachel Lynn Solomon (Available January 11th).  A TV meteorologist and a sports reporter scheme to reunite their divorced bosses with unforecasted results in this electrifying romance.

One of the best books of January is Greenwich Park.

Greenwich Park by Katherine Faulkner (Available Now).  Told from three different perspectives, there are all kinds of mysteries under the floorboards of this old Victorian Home.  A gripping thriller that will have you up all night, this is not a book to be missed.
