It’s getting chilly and it’s time to enjoy those dates for the Fall!
We’ve got some ideas on dates to do something fun with your partner that keep things new and interesting.
Here are ten fall date ideas that both you and your partner will love!
Picnic in Your Living Room. Grab that cheese board and all those picnic foods you love and put down a blanket right in the living room. Hang out and read together while you enjoy the food.
Paint Night. Grab some paint and a canvas and watch a Bob Ross episode on youtube. It’s always a fun time and something different to keep you trying new things.
Try a Puzzle. It’s fun and calming to work a puzzle. When I need to take a deep breath and just relax, I turn on some fun music or an audiobook and start to put together a puzzle. It’s especially fun if you like the image, I have a Harry Potter themed puzzle that I’m currently working on.
Play a New Board Game. See our blog this month on the best board games for adults that aren’t Monopoly. There are so many different types of games to try, you might be surprised you actually love playing them!
Watch a Movie Outdoors. Find a drive-in movie theatre in your area, or a park showing a movie, or even grab a cheap projector and hook it up to watch a film in your backyard.
Go to a Fall Festival. Whether it’s picking apples, going to a pumpkin patch, attending a halloween parade, or an Oktoberfest festival, get outside and enjoy the fall vibes with your loved one. It’s great to get to switch it up for the new season.
Go on a Hike. Get out and get walking. It could just be an urban hike through your neighborhood or you could go full fledged mountain hike, but get out and moving, it will help your psyche and bring you closer together with this fun activity.
Hang out at a Brewery. Get out of town and relax at a craft brewery. They generally have beautiful views, take in the sights, smells, and tastes, and talk about the types of brews you’re into and what notes you’re getting from your tastebuds.
Visit a Bookstore Together. When you visit a bookstore, you can walk around and talk about all the great books you’ve read or the ones you want to read. It will spark great conversations about what you love and even get you laughing over those dumb books that they put out.
Take a Cooking Class. You can find a great cooking class just from YouTube, or you can do a Virtual class from AirBnB experiences or with Sur La Table. They have great classes that get you creating feasts!
