It’s Fall, so it’s time to break out all of the pumpkin: pumpkin Lattes, pumpkin ice cream, and even pumpkin bread! Here’s an amazing recipe that will have your guests oohing and ahhing over your creation!

Ingredients:

  • 3 ½ cups of all purpose flour
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 ½ teaspoons of salt
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 cup of oil
  • 2/3 cup of water
  • 4 eggs
  • Chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1 16 oz can of Pumpkin (2 cups)

Directions:

  1. Heat the oven to 350 degrees F
  2. Grease two 9×5 baking loaf pans (or you can make muffins)
  3. In a large bowl, mix all of the dry ingredients
  4. In a medium bowl, combine the oil, water, eggs and pumpkin
  5. Pour the medium bowl ingredients into the large bowl and beat for 1 minute at medium speed
  6. Pour the batter into greased pans and bake at 350 degrees for 60 to 70 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean
  7. Voila! You have pumpkin bread
