Gayneté Jones, the founder of Best, Periodt., had a horrible period, a super heavy flow that rendered conventional pads, tampons, and menstrual cups ineffective. And she realized that there was space in the market to create a great new menstrual cup.

She aimed to create a menstrual cup that could handle both light and heavy flow, eliminate the inconvenience of cloth bags, offer a comfortable fit, be made from high-quality materials, and provide education about menstrual care, which is how Best, Periodt was born.
