These cookies are perfect to make with your kids, they’re just sugar cookies and then you get to decorate them yourself! Try finding some fun cookie cutters like ghosts and pumpkins and enjoy the decorating!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 ¼ cup butter
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a bowl add together the flour, baking soda, baking powder
  3. In a larger bowl, after melting the butter, add sugar and beat in the egg and vanilla.
  4. Slowly add in the flour mixture
  5. Roll out the cookie dough and cut them out with cookie cutters
  6. Bake for 10 minutes
  7. Decorate!
