Magnesium is a proven vitamin that can help with PMS cramps.
In a recent small clinical trial, women who took more magnesium actually were helped with their cramps and headaches during their PMS time. And you can get a lot of magnesium from Broccoli! This is my favorite recipe to just pop in the oven, it’s so quick and easy and will have your family happy for that delicious vegetable for dinner.
Ingredients:
- 2 Heads of Broccoli
- Olive Oil
- 1/3 Cup of Water
- Salt
- Pepper
- Cayenne Pepper
- 2 Cloves of Minced Garlic
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees
- Cut up the broccoli into bite sized pieces
- Mince the garlic
- Put all the broccoli into a bowl and add about two tablespoons of olive oil, mix and then put in a pinch of salt and pepper. Then add a pinch of cayenne pepper and mix it all together
- Add the garlic to the broccoli mixture
- Put the broccoli with the spices on a baking sheet and put into the oven for 30 minutes
