Do you have plans for this Valentines Day? What are you going to do? Or how should you celebrate love all month long! Here are some ideas!

  1. Stay at home with a picnic! If it’s too cold to go outside, just have a picnic near your fireplace indoors! Buy your favorite picnic foods, spread out a blanket and voila! The perfect romantic date night!
  2. Watch a Rom Com! It may seem obvious but it’s my favorite thing to do on Valentines day! Cuddle up with your favorite one!
  3. Take a cooking class or try a new recipe at home. You might want to look for a local cooking class or decide to try a new recipe! Just switching up your routine is sexy and can be fun!
  4. Visit a botanical garden. There are still flowers to see in February! And when you visit a green house, it will even be warm!
  5. Host a Valentines Day cook off! Have a party where everyone has to bring a baked good, then vote on the best one!
  6. Take a dance lesson. Try something you haven’t done before! Why not try a salsa or a waltz class? Even zumba can get the blood going and leave you smiling from all the endorphins you get from exercise!
  7. Check out the stars. Sometimes its great to just sit outside, bring a heavy blanket, and look up at the world!
  8. Do an art project. Try painting at home or drawing one another, you never know what you might discover, or at least it could keep you laughing.
  9. Go hit the ice skating or roller rink! Lace up those skates and dance your way around the rink.
  10. Visit a Jazz Club. Go dancing! This is such a rom com trope! Why not make it happen in real life!
  11. Go to a Museum. Head to your local museum or art gallery! What will be on exhibit this time?
  12. Host a Wine Tasting Party! Have each guest bring a bottle of wine and wrap it in a piece of paper when they arrive! Then everyone has to guess what the wine is!
  13. Sing your heart out with karaoke! Belt your favorite Taylor Swift songs or croon those Amy Winehouse ballads, karaoke is always a good time to celebrate those love songs!
  14. Read books on the couch! It doesn’t have to be a crazy Valentines Day, as long as you’re together, that’s where the love is. Celebrate sitting cozily next to one another reading your favorite books.
