As it’s Women’s History Month, it is time to fight like a feminist, feel like boss babe, and celebrate this holiday that’s all about us!

How do you do that?

Well first off I recommend you celebrate the whole month long, or if you want a party day, why not go for March 8th, International Women’s Day to kick start the fun!

Here are some ways to Celebrate like the fiercest feminist you are:

Explore the History of Women’s Rights. Last year we celebrated the 100th Anniversary of gaining our right to vote, but why not go back and learn a little bit more about these amazing suffragettes? We have a series on our blog that explores the lives of these women, check it out here and here!

Support a Non-Profit. Give your time or money to an organization you love! They might not have volunteer events right now, but you could help them with virtual events, or maybe donate your time to help create graphics, or your knowledge of the law, whatever it may be!

Watch Films and TV show Directed & Produced by Women. Chloe Zhao just won best director for Nomadland at the Golden Globes! Why not check out her film and find more female directors and producers work. Some of my favorites include Lost in Translation, Lady Bird, The Farewell, and Selma. Also don’t even forget the best show of the year, I will fight you on this ;), Bridgerton created by the incomparable Shonda Rhimes. If you haven’t seen this yet, stop reading right now and watch, regency, hot men, manners, sex, how can you not love it?

Visit a Museum (Virtually) and check out Female Artists. Who is your female artist? I love visiting Artsy.net to check out both historical works of art and work by artists now! And at the moment they’re having a virtual exhibition of Contemporary Female Surrealists, which I’ve got to say is pretty surreal: https://www.artsy.net/collection/contemporary-women-surrealists

Support Women Owned Businesses. Did you know that Jubilance is a Women Owned Business? We’re a small family business working to support women on our periods because my sisters and I had the WORST PMS growing up. But get out there and find the female businesses you love!

Check out our Podcast Weekly Woman, where we talk to Women from all over the Globe about their definitions of Womanhood. If you haven’t heard it yet, you’re in for a treat. We talk to Olympians, Doctors, Yogis, Bachelor Alums, Miss Canada; you’ll find someone you want to hear. And if you have someone to nominate to be on the podcast, email me at [email protected], I’d love to talk to you, every woman has a unique story.  Check out the Podcast here!

Become a Mentor. Find a place to volunteer or help in your community. You have knowledge that others want! Why not help a young girl learn to read, or help with a local garden, you are a powerful woman! Time to shine!

Acknowledge the amazing Women in your Life!!! Every woman is incredible in her own way, and let them know it! Why not write all the women in your life notes this month about how they inspire you? Shoot them a quick text or even send them a small gift in the mail.

Start a Feminist Book Club. Grab your closest gals and make a plan to read a book together. My girls and I may not have all finished the book, but we love getting together (on zoom) every month to talk books. And if you’re struggling to find the best book for your group, check out this blog post on the best Feminist Books to read!

Dress all in White like the Suffragettes. Why not pull out that all white look and pretend you’re a suffragette from the past? Embrace our history and look fierce while doing it!
